What Does CodeMark Mean for Your Project?

BCAs Must Accept It

Under section 19(1)(d) of the Building Act 2004, a BCA must accept a CodeMark Product Certificate as establishing compliance with the relevant NZBC clauses. This is a legal obligation — not a recommendation.

No Producer Statement Needed

For the clauses covered by CodeMark Certificate CMNZ70173, you do not need a producer statement. The certificate is the evidence of compliance. This simplifies your consent documentation.

Faster Consents

With CodeMark, your BCA has a clear, legally-accepted path to consent. No back-and-forth requesting additional evidence. Specify HG by model ID, reference CMNZ70173, and move forward.
